Events that include alcohol sales are limited to 5 hours from the time our first guest is served to completion, and must end by midnight.
The Meister Hut and summit scenic viewing area is open to the general public to 3pm. The ceremony can begin any time after that but should happen before 5pm.
Cranmore asks for a $500 deposit to hold your event date. This will be applied towards your final bill, which is due one week before the event date. Checks and credit cards are acceptable forms of payment. The final bill is due one week in advance of your wedding date.
We take food allergies very seriously and have many alternative accommodations for them.
Because Cranmore’s seasonal window for hosting weddings is limited, your deposit is non-refundable. It can, however, be applied to a later date if necessary.
What isn’t there to do in North Conway! We’ve got the Adventure Park right here at Cranmore, the Conway Scenic Railroad, the Mt. Washington Auto road & Cog Railway, you can float, canoe or paddle the Saco River, play at the Kahuna Laguna water park, shop at Settlers’ Green Outlet Village or North Conway Village, etc. There’s more, trust us!
In the event of rain, Cranmore suggests either using Zip’s Restaurant as a backup ceremony location, or the 3rd floor of the Skimobile lodge.
Gratuity is not required for service staff.
We do not have a shuttle service, but we can direct you to a local limo/taxi/bus service.
For the restaurant and base area, we ask that all decorations be removed by 5pm the next day. For the summit, the first ride up is 11am and last chairlift ride down is at 4pm (anytime in between is welcome).
In the summer & fall, the lift ride is 9 and ½ minutes to the summit. Add in some time for guests who will need assistance to get off the chair and on the ground with the lift at a stop,
Because of the challenges in transporting delicate objects to the summit, we encourage events to use our current facilities & structures.
Our food and beverage department does not decorate wedding cakes, but we can direct you to one of our delectable local bakeries. There is no serving fee for bringing in another vendor’s cake.
You are welcome to begin decorating Zip’s Pub as early as 5 days in advance of your wedding date. The restaurant is closed to the public in the summer and fall, so it is available at your leisure. The summit Meister Hut is available the day of your event beginning at 11am.
Most events guests typically hire a DJ, but we’ve definitely heard some stellar bands rock it out.
We offer a fully stocked bar well to top shelf. If there is particular brand or style of liquor that we don’t have in our inventory we will do our best to make sure it is available.
North Conway is home to some really unique and guest-friendly nightlife. We’d be happy to direct you to more locations, or you can see for yourself here and here.
Zip's Pub & Grill can fit a maximum of 125 guests.
Yes. We can accommodate a tent and serve that many guests.
Yes, we can. All of our event guests are welcome to use our summer product offerings at a discount. Guests will be given a coupon to come back on Sunday for our summer adventure parks when they are greeted by a Cranmore employee at the chairlift.
There is a propane-fueled fireplace outside of Zip's Pub. All other fires are not permitted on our grounds.
Please email [email protected] for more photos. We would be happy to share them with you.
The fastest way to transport basic decorations would be via the chairlift. Please fit all decorations into cardboard boxes or plastic containers that can fit on the seat, under the bar.
This question is asked all the time. Cranmore encourages all guests to ride the chairlift to the summit. For those guests who absolutely will not ride the lift, Cranmore can drive one truck to the summit, which can seat up to four guests. Be advised that although the road is safe, the ride is bumpy!
Cranmore's liquor license extends to the deck behing Zip's Pub and Grill, as well as the deck on Meister Hut at the summit. Those are the only locations where alcohol is allowed.
All alcohol must be purchased and served by Centerplate at Cranmore and its service staff.
Yes. Guests can enjoy a select Sirius satellite radio station, or plug in a digital device into our receiver to play music throughout the Meister Hut.
We strive to be extremely transparent in our costs & quotes. All of our standard wedding event menus include hors d’oeuvres, elegant entrees, site fees, and transportation fees. Some added costs that are not included are potential table rentals for the restaurant if you do not prefer square tables, an additional dance floor, or perhaps a tent.
Because the Meister Hut at the summit of Cranmore is one of the premier views of the Mt. Washington Valley, we must keep this location open to the general public during your wedding day, specifically up to 3pm. Decorating of this venue can occur anytime during the day of your event, and Cranmore staff will do our best to ensure its safety.
New Hampshire's Food and Beverage tax of 9% applies to alcohol sales.
Because the chairlift is open during daytime hours, and weekends-only in the fall, the rehearsal is limited to the base area.
Onsite lodging is available at Kearsarge Brook Condominium Rentals with 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units. A link to our onsite lodging can be found HERE. We also partner with numerous hotels & inns throughout the Mount Washington Valley to provide our guests with superior experiences.
North Conway is a premier foliage tourism destination. Because of this, Cranmore recommends booking your rooms as early as possible. Many, if not most, lodging properties will offer a full refund if given at least two weeks’ notice of cancellation.
This can be a very challenging question to answer. Foliage is a unique natural attraction, and does not have a defined window. Peak foliage can occur anywhere between the last week of September and the latter part of October. The beginning-middle of October is the best bet for the most color, but we cannot guarantee.
Two weeks in advance of the date of your event, we’ll task for a final headcount and menu options. At which time, we’ll invoice you for final payment, due one week in advance of your wedding date.
