Snowmaking Update

January 16, 2022

I guess we’ve all been doing our snow dances… 8 – 12 inches of new snow is on the way late tonight through tomorrow evening!  It does look like it may mix with rain a little bit in the afternoon, which will create a heavier wet snow, but that means it’s even better to add to our base depth.

Snowmaking will resume on Tuesday, where we’ll work on finishing up the North Slope, Hurricane, Zip’s, Lower Kandahar, and Emperor, before moving onto Phase 7, Lower Arlberg, Schneider, Triple Shot, and Lower Hurricane.  The coming weeks looks great for productive snowmaking – let’s hope this winter weather sticks around!
