Snowmaking Update
January 28, 2021
Our snowmaking team has gotten a few much deserved nights off, after about a very decent window of snowmaking weather. With their recent efforts, we have been adding to our list of open terrain, along with planning on opening some more for the upcoming weekend.
Here’s the scoop for the next few days…
Friday, we are hoping to add Rattlesnake, K Connector, and hopefully Lower Hurricane and Zips (if not these two on Friday, they’ll be open for Saturday).
Saturday, we’re planning on adding Lower Kandahar, and Emperor and Rockhopper to our Beginner Basin area.
If all goes to plan, this weekend we’ll be up to 134 acres and 39 trails.
Our next plan of attack for snowmaking will be moving to the Lower Arlberg, middle portion of Schneider, East Slope, Gibson Pitch, Lower Hurricane and Morton’s 60 terrain park. We’ll also be setting up the Upper Arlberg and North Conway to run as soon as we can.
