Expanded Terrain for MLK Weekend!
January 14, 2021
Who doesn’t love a long weekend! We’ve got lots in store for this Martin Luther King Weekend including adding new terrain, plus extended hours for skiing and riding and the Tubing Park.
Our snowmaking team took advantage of colder temperatures earlier this week in anticipation of the upcoming holiday weekend. Thanks to their efforts we are looking to open an additional route off the summit: Middle to the Competition Slope, and the cross over on the Upper part of the North Slope, from Middle to the Alley and the South Slope. We have also been blasting snow in Reed’s Terrain Park, and our park crew is planning a build for a weekend opening. This brings us to just under 30 trails and about 90 acres of skiable terrain.
Our tubing park will also be at 100% with 10 lanes of sliding.
Extended hours for the weekend include skiing and riding from 8:30am – 8pm and tubing from 8am – 6pm both Saturday and Sunday. Remember passholders can load the Skimobile Express Quad starting at 8am on Saturday and Sunday of this weekend if their pass is valid. Monday we’ll have skiing and riding from 8:30am – 4pm, and tubing from 9am – 5pm.
