Cranmore Hosts Biweekly Blood Drives
July 14, 2021
North Conway, NH – In partnership with the American Red Cross, Cranmore will host biweekly blood drives on Fridays throughout the summer. Events will take place in the Arlberg Lodge from 10am – 2:45pm on the following Fridays: June 25th, July 2nd, 16th, 30th, and August 13th and 27th.
To make an appointment to donate this summer, visit redcrossblood.org or download the free Red Cross Blood Donor App. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in.
Blood and platelet donations are needed in the coming days to help replenish the blood supply and ensure patients continue to receive lifesaving treatments. Donors can help even more patients when they invite a loved one, friend, or co-worker to give with them.
Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds, and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
Blood and platelet donors can save time at their next donation by using RapidPass to complete their pre-donation reading and health history questionnaire online, on the day of their donation, before arriving at the blood drive. To get started, follow the instructions at redcrossblood.org/RapidPass or use the Blood Donor App.
The Arlberg Lodge is located on the north side of the Cranmore property and is located off North Chair Road.
