Cranmore donates $255 to local through Mountain Meister's Pay2Play Program

Cranmore donates $255 to local through Mountain Meister's Pay2Play Program

January 24, 2020

Mountain Meisters, Cranmore's weekly race series, is one of the longest running community race leagues in the United States, attracting over 300 racers and 20 teams.

Through the Meister's Pay2Play program, racers are able to take a third run each week for a $5 donation to a pre-determined local charity/non-profit. The Meister's Pay2Play beneficiary for the first two weeks of the season is Josh Preece, a local who sustained life altering injuries after a mountain bike injury in 2018. Earlier this week Cranmore presented Josh a check for $255.

Last season Cranmore donated over $5,000 through the Pay2Play program to local non-profits including the 8th Grade Kennett Class Trip to Philadelphia, Granite Backcountry Alliance, End 68 Hours of Hunger, Starting Point, and Jen's Friends Cancer Foundation.

Week 3 and 4 donations will benefit the White Mountain Trail Collective.
