Arts Jubilee Kicks off Thursday, July 15

July 13, 2021

North Conway, NH - The 38th season of the Arts Jubilee Summer Concert Series returns to Cranmore this Thursday night with rock anthems of the '70s and '80s from the Classic Rock Orchestra.  The outdoor concert series will run weekly on Thursday nights from July 15th through August 12th at the base of Cranmore’s North Slope.

Thursday, July 15th the Classic Rock Orchestra will perform the greatest rock anthems of the 70s and 80s live in concert with a rock band and a chamber group, featuring songs by Journey, Heart, Kansas, Pat Benatar, Boston, E.L.O, Stevie Nicks, Toto and many more.

“Classic Rock is, quite simply, one of the finest pops offerings available today.  The music of epic bands like Kansas, Journey, and Boston is now coming into its own, as a hallmark of nostalgia for multiple generations of pops goers.  This concert experience celebrates that nostalgia perfectly.  The band is phenomenal, the singers are extraordinary, and the orchestrations are about the finest I have ever seen.”

The main concert will start at 7pm with a local opening act performing at 6pm.  This Thursday’s opening act is Mike and Becca of the local band Rek’-lis.

Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, $5 for students, and free for kids 12 and under. Tickets can be pre-purchased online at www.artsjubilee.org or at the gate on the night of the show (cash or credit). Free parking is available on site, and food and beverages is available for purchase on the Zip’s Pub deck.  Seating is not provided at the venue, so concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
