January 29th Update

Can we talk about how our snowmakers and groomers have been killing it?  Considering the elements we've been faced with this past month... from sub-zero temperatures to spring-like days and more of the "R" word than we like,  we've been able to recover quite nicely, and are sitting with about 90% of our terrain open.  This past weekend we opened the anticipated North Conway trail, which our snowmakers were getting busy on, along with Rattlesnake and Hurricane.  Though we've officially wrapped up the Phase Plan for this season, we still have guns out and hosed and are ready to get back at it when we need to - now if Mother Nature would only give us some more of the natural stuff we'd be sitting even prettier!

All and all, the skiing and riding have been fantastic.  This past weekend we hosted the Samuel Adams Air and Apres 3D tour, where we had some world class athletes (Olympic and XGame athletes) go big on a ginormous jump that was built at the bottom of the North Slope (check the video below if you missed it).  They combined freestyle skiing and riding with 3D mapping for a quite unique show.   The snow used for the jump has since been pushed out throughout the North Slope and the Double Feature Terrain Parks.

You know what to do for the latest updates on snowmaking...
