December 7th Update
We’re welcoming another cold snap, and it looks like it should be sticking around for a few days starting Saturday! Cold temps mean our crew can continue to lay it down, and work on a solid base- because you know, it’s all about that base, bout that base… (See what I did there? I’ll save you from the song I re-wrote… maybe save it for another time ;) ).
After a few days of warm weather, we were able to fire up last night, will start up again tonight and Friday night, and hopefully, starting Saturday, run around the clock while cold temps (and don’t forget web bulb) stay. Over this period, we'll continue to focus on finishing up Easy Street, Gibson, Beginner Basin, Jimmy’s Run, the tubing park, and the Alley as well.
As we move into the new week, look for Easy Street and Gibson added to our trail count and we'll start on Split Decision, Ledges and continue on the Alley. We’re projecting to have these, plus the Terrain Based Learning elements for the weekend of the 16th.
All and all, things are moving along quite well. We’re still on track to get to phase 6 (of 8) by Christmas, meaning 75% of open terrain for the upcoming holiday vacation period.
In the meantime, thing cold and snowy weather!
