Cranmore Mountain / Friday, April 28, 2017 / Categories: News Cranmore to Add New Kearsarge Brook Amenities Building North Conway, NH- On Thursday, April 27th, Cranmore Mountain Resort gained conditional approval by the Town of Conway Planning Board to build a new Kearsarge Brook resident pool facility and future tubing park base lodge. The new facility will be located at the base of Cranmore’s tubing park hill, next to Cranmore Fitness. The building will be built in two parts. The first segment will include a new outside pool and hot tub area, with an adjacent indoor viewing area and men’s and women’s changing room. The projected completion date for the first portion of the building will be December, 2017. The Pool Facility will be reserved for Kearsarge Brook owners on weekends and vacation periods, with a limited number of midweek membership options available to Cranmore Fitness Members. The second segment of the building will include first level Tubing and Mountain Adventure Park ticket windows, an employee room, public bathrooms and a small private fitness area for Kearsarge Brook residents. The second level will include a restaurant for the tubing park and a large deck. The completion date for this segment is projected to be completed in two to three years. A newly designed guest unloading zone for the resort will also be completed by July. The new larger unload zone will include new paving, drop off parking, sidewalks, decorative and improved lighting and will give the resort an improved look moving into summer, fall and next winter. The new Amenities Building and unloading zone is part of the larger $50 million base area redevelopment plan, Kearsarge Brook Condominiums at Cranmore. Construction continues on schedule which will allow new residents to move in this October. A first floor, slopeside model unit will be completed by July for guests to tour.
