Cranmore Kicks Off February Vacation Week with Special Events and Extended Hours

Resort will host activities for the whole family, on and off the hill

NORTH CONWAY, NH – Cranmore Mountain Resort is the place to be this February Vacation. With a jam-packed events schedule and extended hours, the resort has families covered for activities all week long.

Two Cranapalooza celebrations are scheduled for the week, on both Saturday, February 18th and Saturday, February 25th. Families are invited to join in the fun, starting at 2:30pm in Schneider Square.

The festivities will feature DJ Kris10, outdoor family entertainment, dance parties with C-more the Penguin, and s’mores in Schneider Square. On February 18th, Fireworks are scheduled for 6:30pm at the base of the South Slope.

On Sunday, February 19th Cranmore’s retail shop, Sport Thoma, will host a demo day. Guests can try out the latest high performance equipment, plus swap out the style of ski throughout the day from 9am to 3pm. Brands include Armada, K2, Volkl, Rossignol, Blizzard, Nordica and Head.

There will be music and s’mores during non-Cranapalooza days in Schneider Square from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. A full schedule of activities for the week can be found at

All of vacation week, from February 18th through February 26th there will be après music in Zip’s Pub and Grille, featuring some of the valley’s favorite musicians. Performers include The Gravel Project, Greg Walsh, Ben Cook and more.

On both Saturday, February 18th and February 25th, guests can meet Cranmore President and General Manager, Ben Wilcox, for a hardhat tour of the Kearsarge Brook Condominium site. Participants can join meet at the Real Estate Sales office at 3:15pm to join a tour.

Cranmore’s Tubing and Mountain Adventure Park activities will offer extended hours for the holiday period. Activities will run February 18th to February 25th from 9am-9pm, and February 26th from 9am-4pm.

Ski area operations during the holiday week, February 18th to February 25th, are from 8:30am-6pm and from 8:30am to 4pm on February 26th. Extended hours of skiing or riding are included at no extra cost to all full day lift tickets during the vacation period.
