Arts Jubilee Concert Series Presents: Seacost Wind Ensemble & FIREWORKS
The Seacoast Wind Ensemble is a 50-piece Sousa-style symphonic band under the direction of Artistic Director, Mark Stickney and Assistant Director, Jon Roth. Keeping with Arts Jubilee's long-lasting Pops Concert tradition, the Seacoast Wind Ensemble will be performing a traditional concert of pops favorites and light classics with some familiar Americana mixed in—all culminating with a spectacular fireworks show presented by Atlas Pyrotechnics. 6PM OPENING ACT - MWV Band: The Mount Washington Valley Band is a traditional community band made up of musicians of all ages. The band is one of New England's oldest community concert bands, dating back to the Civil War era! It was reborn in the 1970s under the guidance of Charlie Toor, a local jazz singer and pianist, and its first conductor, Mike Hathaway. The band tries to provide audiences with a variety of music including contemporary music, soundtracks, and show tunes.
Bring friends and family plus your own picnic blanket or lawn chairs. An early concert by area performers is at 6 PM, the featured main performance is at 7:00 PM. The Arts Jubilee Concert Series is a rain or shine event. Concert goers are encouraged to come prepared as they would to any outdoor event.
Concerts are presented outdoors in nature's beautiful setting with mountain views at the base of the north slope at Cranmore.
