Arts Jubilee Concert Series Presents: Roomful of Blues
Arts Jubilee Presents: Roomful of Blues
With five Grammy nominations and a slew of music awards and accolades, Roomful of Blues has become a recognized leader in their genre. For the last 50 years, the band has toured the globe and recorded over 25 albums. Even though their lineup has changed over the years, Roomful has always been one of the tightest, most joyful blues ensembles around. Currently, an eight-piece unit led by guitarist Chris Vachon, the band has never sounded fresher or stronger. The band's winning combination of jump, swing, blues, R&B, and soul remains their calling card, as does their ability to fill the dance floor. Along with newer members bassist John Turner, trumpeter Carl Gerhard, drummer Chris Anzalone, and keyboardist Rusty Scott, and longtime members singer Phil Pemberton, and saxophonists Mark Earley and Rich Lataille, Roomful of Blues keeps on rockin' in 2018.
