New Hampshire's Summit Adventure

Scenic chairlift rides are a summer activity the whole family can enjoy! Take a relaxing 7-minute ride to the top of the mountain on Cranmore’s four passenger summit chairlift. After reaching the top, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and take in the stunning views of the surrounding Mount Washington Valley and prestigious Mount Washington from 2,000 feet.

Located at the summit, the historic Meister Hut restaurant is the perfect spot to kick back and relax. The Meister Hut offers a lunch menu, grab and go snacks and, and local craft beer. Riders can also pack a bagged lunch for a mountaintop picnic!

After exploring the peak, board the Skimobile Express Quad for a scenic chairlift ride back to the base area.

Memorial Day - mid June: Weekends and holidays, 10am - 4pm (last chair to summit 3:30pm)

June 17 - Labor Day: Daily, 10am - 5pm (last chair to summit 4:30pm)

Labor Day - Columbus Day: Weekends and holidays, 10am - 4pm (last chair to summit 3:30pm)

The Meister Hut is open from 10:00am – 4pm, when the scenic chair is in operation.

The Scenic Chairlift is included with the purchase of each Mountain Adventure Park ticket.

The Scenic Chairlift is included with the purchase of lift access in the Bike Park, however bikes are restricted to the South Quad.

Chairlift Ride Restrictions

Must be age 8+ to ride alone.
Early Season, last chair to the summit is 3:30pm, and last ride down from the summit is 3:45pm.

Summit Meister Hut

The Meister Hut is open from 10:00am – 4:30pm (last call at 4pm) alongside summer operations. During early and late season, the Meister Hut will close at 3:30pm, with last call at 3pm.

Swing into the historic Meister Hut for a snack, cold treat, or icy cold beverage. The Meister Hut offers a selection of local craft beers, hot dogs, Bavarian pretzels, pre-packaged snacks, and Gifford's ice cream.

Summit Hiking

Starting at the Meister Hut is a 1/2 mile loop around the summit. Suitable for all ages, the trail displays scenic views of the Valley including downtown North Conway, the Conway Scenic Railroad, the Saco River, the Moat Mountains Range, Presidential Mountains including Mount Washington and more.

Looking for a longer trek? Check out the Black Cap Connector Trail. A longer 2 mile traverse to neighboring Black Cap Mountain. Still relatively easy and family friendly, the hike offers stunning 360 degree views of the area once reaching the summit.
