Get Skiing and Snowboarding

A learning experience designed to take the first time skier or snowboarder through a series of lessons utilizing our Terrain Based Learning TM features that will have you sliding, and turning, in no time. Visit here for what to expect during your first lesson.

Best Options for Learning to Ski or Snowboard

For the absolute beginner with no prior experience

Option 1: Beginner Lesson Passport

Your passport to the world of Skiing & Snowboarding

$249

The passport package includes three 2-hour beginner group lessons, lift tickets, rentals with a helmet. Package also includes coupons for other Cranmore offerings. Complete all three lessons & purchase a season pass for just $199.
Passport lessons may be taken anytime during the 2019-20 season. Passport expires at the end of the season. 
Lessons meet everyday at 10am & 1pm

Option 2: Get Skiing or Snowboarding  Level 1

$129

Package includes two hour group lesson, rentals with a helmet, and a lower mountain lift ticket. 
Upon completion of lesson one, you may upgrade to the Beginner Passport for $120 and receive your third lesson free. 
Lessons meet everyday at 10am & 1pm

For Those Who Have Limited Prior Experience

Get Skiing or Snowboarding Level 2

$129

 If you have tried skiing or snowboarding before, but have difficulty sliding and turning on beginner terrain, this package is for you.
Meets everyday at 10am and 1pm.
Includes 2 hours of instruction, equipment rental with helmet and lower mountain lift ticket

Get Skiing or Snowboarding Level 3

$179

If you can link turns, control speed on beginner terrain, and ride a chair lift, this is where you should be.    
Meets everyday at 10am and 1pm.
Includes 2 hours of instruction, equipment rental with helmet and full mountain lift ticket

Private Lessons

  • A great chance to get one on one time with your own instructor; this is a great option for developing more advanced skills including racing and/or terrain park, but it is acceptable for all levels. Park and race lessons require 24 hour advance reservations
  • Semi privates offer individuals of the same skill level looking to develop their skiing or riding skills together in a private setting. Individuals need to be of similar ability and participating in the same discipline (either skiing or snowboarding). Limited to three people per instructor
  • Price is for lesson only; it does not include lift ticket or equipment.  Reservations are highly recommended. Must be reserved by phone.
  • Lessons meet on snow, midway between the main base lodge and Children's Center.

Tips for a Good Experience

  • Book in advance!  It saves you money and will put you at ease on the day of your arrival.
  • Get a good nights' sleep!  Being well rested for the day will improve the experience.
  • Eat breakfast!  They don't say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day for no reason.
  • Arrive at least 60 minutes prior to your lesson start time to allow for the ticketing & rental process.
