LETTER FROM KAREN FOR PARENTS
Hi Everyone,
Hope
everyone had a good week and is ready for February Vacation. I have attached Two items that I hope you all
take time to look at. One is the BWL
Championship which is a three day event and starts March 9th, this item talks
about the event and different Sponsorship Packages. The other item is a letter to the Parents
talking about the upcoming Vacation and other planned events.But for the
upcoming week ahead I was just going to give you a general outline of what we
have planned for the kid’s.
Saturday
the 18th- (J3 and J4 only) will have early morning GS training, Coaches will
have 6:45 lift ride to set and athletes will be able to get on at 7:30. All
athletes training early morning must stay on the trail we set on, if anyone is
caught pass will be pulled. Because of
early morning J3 and J4 program will end at 1:30. J5 and J6 will run normal time 9 to 3. At lunch ALL KIDS AND COACHES HAVE TO BE AT
THE TRAINING CENTER TO TAKE A TEAM PHOTO. All Kids should plan on bringing both
pairs of skis, SL and GS
Sunday
the 19th- Again early morning for (J3 and J4 only) GS training, Same Plan as Saturday.
J5 and J6 program will run at normal time 9 to 3. Kids should again plan on
brining both GS and SL skis to training.
Monday
the 20th- Training for J3 will start at normal time, Kids ready to get on the
chair at 8:30 and go to 3. Training for
J4,J5,J6 will all so go at the normal time.
Ready to go at 9 and program will end at 3. Kids should be ready to train either SL or
GS, so bring both Pairs of skis.
Tuesday
the 21st- DAY OFF
Wednesday
the 22nd- Travel Day for the J4 and J5 Groups.
J4 will be going to Wildcat for a J4 day and the J5 Will be heading to
King Pine for a J5 day. J3 program will
be the normal time, and they should plan on bringing both SL and GS to train.
Thursday
the 23rd- Program will be at the normal time for all groups and all groups
should bring both GS and SL skis for Training.
Friday
the 24th- Race Day. The Schneider Cup
Race will start at 4pm and probably run to about 8pm. All kids should be entered into the
race. There might be training available
on Zips before the race but we will notify you a couple of days before hand.
Saturday
the 25th- Program will start at 10 for all athletes and will go til 2. After training there will be a Cookout at the
Finish Building for the Program (See Parents Letter). J3’s Should bring their GS skis for training
and the J4, J5 Should bring their SL gear for Training.
Sunday
the 26th- J3 Regional team will be here at Cranmore for a GS Qualifier. The J3 State team will be heading to Loon for
a GS Qualifier. And the J4 and J5 will be heading to Bretton Woods for a BWL
Qualifier which is a SL. The J6 group
will be here at Cranmore running program at the normal time.
Also
as a reminder to all parents we have the Team photo on the 18th of this week.
And also any J3 who would like a sweatshirt, $45 pick up at the Arlberg
Children’s Center.
