The Cranmore Race Team is a program intended for young skiers, ages 7-19 that have a high level of proficiency in their recreational skills and want to be part of a committed race program. Athletes free-ski, gate train, and race on weekends and vacation periods starting in early December through the middle of March. Athletes have the potential to reach there goals due to the low athlete to coach ratios and high quality training spaces.
Cranmore has a long history of racing excellence. Former Olympians Brooks Dodge, Imogene Opton, Terry and Tyler Palmer, David Currier, Abbi Fisher all began their ski careers at Cranmore. Current US Ski Team member Devin Delaney and US Ski Team Member and 2010 Olympian Leanne Smith are both Cranmore Race Team Alumni.
