As the afternoon winds down, the festivities begin at Cranmore Mountain. Cranapalooza is a festival of music, entertainment and games with North Conway's favorite penguin, C-More.
Cranapalooza – It’s a Festival!
On Saturday afternoons, guests will enjoy a variety of fun family events throughout the resort in addition to snow tubing, mountain coaster, giant swing and Indoor Adventure Zone operations until 9pm. Cranmore is open for skiing until 6pm on Saturdays and vacation periods. Full day lift tickets are valid on those dates for the extra two hours at no additional cost. Cranapalooza also takes place on Wed. Dec. 28 and Wed. Feb. 22.
As guests finish up a day of skiing and riding or arrive for the late day festivities, they can enjoy activities beginning at 2pm. Activities change weekly and include fireworks on select dates, games with C-More, magicians and puppets, fireworks, face painting, hypnotists, live entertainment, hot chocolate and s'mores around the fire pit and Après Ski with live music in Zip's Pub. See our event calendar for a detailed description of each week’s entertainment line up.
Another popular activity coming back for this winter is the spectacular fireworks display set off over the slopes. Fireworks will light the skies at 6:30pm on Dec. 31, Jan. 14, Jan. 28, Feb. 18, Feb. 25 and Mar. 3. Returning this year is the New Year’s Eve edition of Cranapalooza. It is Mount Washington Valley’s best family New Year’s scene, with children’s entertainment, live music and fireworks at 6:30pm. Live music will be provided in Zip’s Pub by popular local musicians. The village of North Conway will offer fireworks later that evening in Schouler Park just 2 miles from Cranmore, giving visitors a double dose of fireworks to greet the New Year.
