Cranmore Competition Programs have produced world-class athletes. Our competition programs are designed for students who have reached the ability level that enables them to compete effectively among their peers. These programs require travel to regional and local competitions and a stronger commitment to the sport.

Competition programs also require parental support and travel expenses may be required as a result of qualifying and making specific teams.

Race Transition Program, ages 7+

For children who want to get some racing experience but are not yet old enough to join CRT, this program provides a smooth transition from skill development to competition by introducing racing to both students and parents in a comfortable environment. Participants learn about rules and regulations to prepare for competition, and participate in fun races throughout the season. Purchase of competition licenses through USSA and NHARA required.

Cranmore Race Team (CRT), ages 8-14

This program has earned state, regional, and national recognition from the performances of Cranmore athletes. It is for those who have reached a high level of proficiency in their skiing skills and are committed to racing. Racers will compete in their age appropriate race schedule: 8 year olds = J6 (open races), 9 & 10 year olds = J5 (BWL race series), 11 & 12 year olds = J4 (BWL race series), and 13 & 14 year olds = J3 (J3 Regional & State series. This year J3 racers have the option of joining the traditional CRT program or participating in the travel team which is a partnered program between Cranmore and MWV Ski Team, see information below. All competitors will need a USSA and NHARA competition license.

Cranmore High School Race Team, ages 15+
