Cranmore’s Ghoullog Halloween Event Opens This Friday October 1st
Are you prepared to travel into the woods of the Ghoullog this October?
NORTH CONWAY NH- Are you prepared to travel into the woods of the Ghoullog this October? For the fourth consecutive season, Death Becomes You Productions and Cranmore Mountain Resort have teamed up to transform North Conway’s favorite ski area into the height of terror. This year’s storyline includes a village that has been left to rot away, due to an unknown virus that seems to have infected everyone who lives or visits. What is left are the infected citizens maddened by the toxin to roam the area. The rest is under wraps.
With a bigger, scarier and more fun event than ever before, Lance Davis and Jim Chichwak head ghouls and leaders of Death Becomes You Productions, are most excited to kick things off, and it’s definitely going to top last year’s haunt. The tour starts at the base of Cranmore Mountain and includes a night-time stroll through a poisoned town where those lucky enough to make it though, will end up at the quad. After the 7-minute ride to the 2,000 foot summit of Cranmore, visitors tour more of the Ghoullog and the once beautiful estate, where haunted happenings are sure to frighten and surprise the hardiest of souls. “People will experience things that only the Ghoullog is daring enough to explore, and will have to face some of their worst fears in the dark,” says Davis, “but the brave will have to come and see personally what this year’s haunt has to offer.”
The doors will open at 6pm where the daring can come in and enjoy the Fall Food Court, the Bloody Noose Pub and Outdoor Beer Garden and outdoor activities, including vintage horror movies under the night sky, all before roaming off into the carnage of the poisoned town.
Opening Friday October 1st, the mountain top haunt will operate Friday and Saturday nights through the end of the month (including Sunday, October 10th and Thursday, October 28th). The 1 hour tours start at 7pm and runs though 10pm. Tickets are $25 at the door and $23 if purchased on-line. October 1st 2nd and 28th residents of Carroll, Coos and Oxford County can take advantage of discounted rates of $21 with proof of residency. Cranmore is also partnering with different lodging properties throughout the North Conway area with different Spook and Stay Packages. Packages allow visitors to get more scares for their buck and include overnight accommodations and tickets to the Ghoullog plus more.
