North Conway, NH – Tom Eastman, reporter for the Conway Daily Sun and longtime contributor to the Mountain Ear, has recently completed a rigorous round of chemotherapy and radiation treatment to combat throat cancer. His friends and supporters want to help him with the excessive costs and expenses incurred during his treatment regime. To celebrate Tom and his contribution to the Mt Washington Valley, friends of Tom Eastman will hold a fundraising event dubbed “Tom-A-Palooza” on Saturday, September 11 at Cranmore Resort. Only 300 tickets will be sold for $40 each. The event promises to be the party of the season, with live music, food, a silent auction packed with great merchandise, and a live auction. Tickets are still available at Badger Realty in North Conway and Jackson, Mt Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce Office and Conway Café in Conway.
The following schedule will feature plenty of time to enjoy good food compliments of the Valley Originals and The Met, live entertainment and plenty of time to bid on donated items from businesses throughout New England. All events will take place at Cranmore Resort.

allowing a later audience for Audio Kickstand to attend. For those interested in attending for just Audio Kickstand we will be charging $15.00 at the gate on a first come, first serve basis as space becomes available. Gate for Audio Kickstand will open no earlier than 7:30PM.
Volunteers are still sought for the Tom-A-Palooza event. Anyone interested in helping may contact Donna Woodward: Tel: 207 935-3959 or 207 441-8170
On September 11 most can’t help but think about a solemn event. The Tom-A-Palooza will offer an uplifting opportunity to help a community leader at a time when we remember those less fortunate. Plan to attend the Tom-A-Paloosa and purchase tickets soon, as they are limited to the first 300 and the majority are now sold.
