<p>NORTH CONWAY, NH &ndash; Cranmore Mountain today announced the line up for  the new 92.5 The River Music on the Mountain concert slated for Aug. 5, 2010.  Headlined by the Atlantic Records recording artists, NEEDTOBREATHE, with Vermont&rsquo;s Grace Potter and the Nocturnals plus opener  Robert Francis from LA, the concert promises to bring a dynamic musical  assortment to Cranmore&rsquo;s slopes, right in the heart of North Conway Village, NH.  The concert is sponsored in part by Newcastle Brown Ale, Cranmore Mountain  Resort &amp; 92.5 The River. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.needtobreathe.net" target="_blank">NEEDTOBREATHE</a> hail from Possum Kingdom, South Carolina  and formed in 1999.&nbsp; On their latest  album, The Outsiders, NEEDTOBREATHE has truly come into their own, seamlessly  blending arena-ready soundscapes with a decidedly Southern sensibility. <p>The band has honed their live show the  old-fashioned way - putting in the time, spending years on the road. Aside from  their skillful musicianship, there's a spontaneous energy that intangibly  connects them with their audience, and their powerful performances have helped  build a dedicated fan base that's been clamoring for <em>The Outsiders.</em></p>
<p>&quot;This band is our life - it's everything, really the only thing that  we've done for the last 10 years,&quot; lead singer Bear Rinehart stated,  explaining that the band literally poured everything they had into <em>The  Outsiders</em>. &quot;We know this is the best record we've ever  made.&quot;&nbsp; The band&rsquo;s website is &nbsp;<a href="http://www.needtobreathe.net" target="_blank">www.needtobreathe.net</a>.</p>
<p> Multi-instrumentalist <a href="http://www.gracepotter.com/" target="_blank">Grace Potter  and the Nocturnals</a> are a Vermont-based band gaining national recognition. The  band consists of 5 members including keyboard specialist Potter, lead guitarist  Scott Tournet, drummer Matt Burr, bassist Catherine Popper, and rhythm  guitarist Benny Yurco.&nbsp; &ldquo;We had a  stylistic epiphany,&rdquo; Potter says of her band&rsquo;s exponential leap. &ldquo;We realized  we&rsquo;re not the kind of band that&rsquo;s ever gonna fit neatly in one genre, and this  time&nbsp; we just let the songs be the songs.  We just naturally wound up playing them in a certain way &mdash; they all have that  beat to them, a physicality and a mood. You have to either want to dance to it  or cry to it. But there&rsquo;s also a feistiness to these songs that&rsquo;s completely  unapologetic.&rdquo;&nbsp; Their albums include  Original Soul (2004), Nothing But The Water (2005), Live Oh Five (2005), This  is Somewhere (2007), Live at Skowhegan (2008), Almost Alice (2010) and Grace  Potter and the Nocturnals (2010). His first song was &lsquo;One By One&rsquo; which was  recorded in 2007 and earned positive reviews.&nbsp;  His current record, &ldquo;Before Nightfall&rdquo; is a snapshot of where Francis is  now. &quot;When people listen to the album, I want them to feel happy,&quot; he  says. &quot;I feel uplifted when I hear these songs; they don't bring me down.  I hope people will be able to relate to them and feel as though whatever is  going on in their lives is going to be okay.&quot;&nbsp; His albums include: One By One (2007) and  Before Nightfall (2009). <p>Cranmore  is a fully licensed facility and will offer an assortment of grilled foods,  salads and beverages on the deck plus a full assortment of beer, wine and  alcohol, featuring Newcastle Brown Ale. This is an all ages &ldquo;rain or shine&rdquo;  event. No dogs and no coolers allowed. ID required for alcohol consumption. No  reentry permitted after entering the grounds. </p>
