North Conway, NH- With the opening of Cranmore's new summer operation, big changes are in store with new employees, promotions and partnerships.
Cranmore will be turning over their Food and Beverage operation to Centerplate, one of the largest hospitality companies in the world. Centerplate currently operates Food and Beverage venues at 250 sports, entertainment and convention venues in North America. They also provide food services for the NFL, 12 Super Bowls, 20 World Series, 15 official U.S. Presidential Inaugural Balls, and more than 100 major College Bowl Games, just to name a few of their ventures. More locally, Centerplate manages the Food and Beverage operations at Cannon Mountain, The Flume, Gunstock, Meadowbrook, Jiminy Peak, Bromley and Sugarloaf Mountain.
With this transition, Michael Rennie has been named as Centerplate’s Food and Beverage Director for Cranmore Mountain Resort. Mike comes from Jiminy Peak, where he most recently served as the Executive Chef and Assistant Food and Beverage General Manager, a position he has held since 2000. Mike and his family will be relocating from Stephentown, NY and will be making North Conway their new home.

Thanks to Cranmore’s expansion into year-round operations, several other positions have been created and expanded. 70 new jobs overall have been necessary to run the summer park, including these promotions: Ticket Manager Tricia Garcia is now full time year round, manning ticket sales and point of sale network administration duties year-round and has been with Cranmore for the past four years.

Tubing Park Supervisor Caitlin Flynn is now Mountain Adventure Supervisor, heading up year-round operations of the mountain coaster, tubing park and other rides and attractions for summer. Caitlin has worked at Cranmore for the past five years.
George Lemerise has expanded his winter role as Patrol Director and Risk Manager to now include Aerial Adventure Park Supervisor, heading up efforts for Cranmore’s newest summer adventure featuring zip lines, air bridges, challenge courses and more. He has been with Cranmore for four years.
With the departure of long time HR director Becky Lapense, Beth Hamlin has been promoted to HR Manager. Until recently Beth was HR Assistant and has been working at the mountain in various positions since she was 14.
