Cranmore Mountain Hosts Ladies Ski Weekend

A weekend filled with activities to encourage women to take control of their skiing, build confidence, and focus on the enjoyment that comes from cruising down the slopes.


NORTH CONWAY, NH- January 29-30, 2011, Cranmore Mountain will be hosting its first Ladies Ski Weekend. A woman only ski weekend taught by PSIA certified instructors open to advanced beginner to all mountain skiers.  The weekend will be filled with activities to encourage women to take control of their skiing, build confidence, and focus on the enjoyment that comes from cruising down the slopes.  It is designed to encourage women to invest in their skiing- whether it be with proper equipment, instruction, or conditioning.

Women will feel a sense of accomplishment while enjoying skiing, improving confidence, exploring new terrain, and being educated on the importance of conditioning with stretching and core strength. It all takes place in a no pressure, fun and relaxed environment.

The cost of the program is $300 ($225 with seasons pass) and includes two days of instruction, two days of lift access, breakfast and lunch each day, an après ski party at the Meister Hut on Saturday, and a core strengthening class.

Saturday, January 29, 2011
8-9am Check in- Eating House/Zip's Pub- Healthy breakfast and registration
9:15am Preview of the weekend
10am Formalize on snow groups and get ready to ski
10:15-3pm On snow
12:15pm Group lunch
4-5pm Meister Hit- Post skiing stretch, followed by Apres Ski, Core Strengh and its importance- speaker, Jane Grubb.  Review Saturday plans
On own for dinner/shopping/spa
Optional group fitness classes at the CFFC
4:30-5:30- Yoga
5:30-6:30- Zumba
