Whether it's a morning on the slopes earning a Merit Badge from one of our certified councilors, a day carving turns or just an afternoon tubing, we have the Scout experience you're looking for. Scout group overnights are available slope-side at Cranmore. Just bring your sleeping bag and enjoy indoor "camping" in one of our rustic heated lodges.
Packages may include some of the following options:
Off Snow - Approximately 1+ Hours, 13 Major Topics
On Snow - 2 Hours, 7 Major Topics
Safety - First Aid - Accident Reporting - Skier Responsibility Code - Demonstrate and Discuss use of Bindings - Discuss the American Teaching System, and Basic Snow Skiing Progression - Types of Skis - Major Ski Associations - Physical Conditioning – Clothing -Carrying Equipment - Lift Use - International Trail Marking System
On Snow Qualifications = Beginning Maneuvers
Must present the Blue Sheet = Merit Badge Application issued to Scout by Troop Leader
Must show some degree of proficiency in all areas of program in order to earn badge.
Group Size = 15 or more guests to earn group rates
Minimum of 5 students per discipline required for Merit Badge Program
Additional options for group outings include discounted rates
Overnight lodging available in base lodge for groups of 15 or more
Skiing, Snowboarding, Tubing, FUN ZONE, Swimming, Climbing options also available for group outing
