Skiing and Riding are great outdoor winter activities. Like most sports, they require a certain amount of physical training and exercise to help you achieve a moderate level of satisfaction and enjoyment. Don't try to ski or ride yourself into shape. Check your local area for a fitness center that may offer some pre-season or in-season classes to help you build your cardiovascular and physical fitness, or perform your own "get fit" routine.
