Hello Darkside Shreds! Welcome back! Its starting to feel alot like winter....yay!!! Snowmakers have been firing up the guns as often as possible and we are itchin' to do some jibbin'! We plan to set up some stuff up after thanksgiving in the old Lucky Loop. As long as Mother Nature keeps the temps low we should be able to make it happen. They will be open the 28th, 29th and 30th from 9 to 4 for your enjoyment. We hope to see you there!
Yet another exciting jib contest at the DARKSIDE!! 42 skiers and snowboarders in 3 different age categories competed on 6 different rails trying to impress the judges. The age groups were: 12 and under boys and girls, 13 - 17 boys and girls and 18 and over boys and girls . Each competitor had 2 runs through the park and each was scored on a scale of 0 - 5 from 3 judges. These totals were added together and this determined the amount of points one received. On March 5th, the final of the 3 event series, a competitor from each age category will win a snowboard or pair of skis depending on the area of expertise!
