MWV High Performance Tricycle Grand Prix Race

August 2, 2009 - Cranmore Resort will be the host on Saturday, September 26th for the first MWV High Performance Tricycle Grand Prix Race. Co-sponsored by The Red Parka Pub and The Valley Originals, this event promises to be another one of those fun Valley events that spectators will enjoy as much as participants. Racers will pedal down a course on steel tricycles similar to the "Big Wheels" of years gone by. This will be a "Grand Prix" format with 4 trikes on course at a time. The Red Jersey Cyclery will be providing on site tech support as the Official High Performance Tricycle Mechanics. Teams are encouraged as are costumes. Bikes will be provided and helmets are required. Race time is 1pm with awards ceremony following. Proceeds for the event will benefit the Red Parka Scholarship Fund and the Mount Washington Valley Bike Path.
