NORTH CONWAY, NH – This holiday weekend, no place in North Conway offers more family fun and festivities than Cranmore Mountain, as it opens its Arctic Blast Tubing Park, Lucky Loop Jib Park and the new indoor Fun Zone the day after Thanksgiving, Fri. Nov. 28, 2008.

New Hampshire’s most popular tubing park opens for the season on Friday, with 3 lanes of lift-serviced snow tubing. The Arctic Blast Tubing Park will be open Fri., Sat. and Sun from 9am – 4pm with tickets costing only $22 for 2 hours for all ages. The tubing park is open Saturdays and Sundays from 9-4pm until Christmas vacation week when it resumes its full winter operating schedule. See cranmore.com for a complete schedule.
Cranmore once again opens its Lucky Loop Jib Park to welcome terrain park fans to its slopes for the holiday weekend. The Darkside Crew will set up several small features and rails for hike-up skiing and riding. The Lucky Loop surface lift will operate adjacent to the park. There is no charge to use the Park and the Darkside Crew will distribute free lift tickets required to access the park. The Park will operate Fri. – Sun. 9am – 4pm.
Thanksgiving fun takes place indoors as well as the resort opens its new Fun Zone at the Cranmore Family Fitness Center. Featuring a 65-foot inflatable obstacle course, giant 20-by-20 foot bouncy house with games of dodge ball, floor hockey, basketball, Twister and more, the Fun Zone is the newest addition to Cranmore’s family festivities. The Zone also includes a pre-school nook with activities for the under 5 crowd. Admission is only $10 for all ages. The Fun Zone opens Fri. 11/28 and Sat. 11/29 from 4pm – 7pm and then will operate Saturday nights and vacation periods starting Christmas vacation week. Cranmore opens for full winter operations for skiing and riding on Saturday, December 6, 2008. With ideal snowmaking temperatures for the last week, Cranmore’s snowmakers have blanketed favorite trails like Artist Falls, Beginner’s Luck and South Slope. The resort hopes to open with top to bottom skiing off its high-speed quad for opening day in addition to the Beginner Basin and South Slope areas and lifts.
