New Events Include Crantastic New Year’s Eve and Snow Train Weekend

NORTH CONWAY, NH -- No other resort offers more fun and festivities than Cranmore Mountain in North Conway, NH. From weekly Cranapalooza outdoor winter parties, to fundraising ski races, to celebrations of our ski history heritage, Cranmore events make every day special for all ages. And this year, North Conway’s favorite family mountain has added several new events, including Crantastic New Year’s Eve, a family-oriented evening of partying, music, skiing and tubing until midnight on December 31st!

Cranapalooza – Every Saturday from 12/27 – 3/21 (Plus Wed. 12/31 and 2/18)

Come for night skiing plus live entertainment and games for the whole family to enjoy.

Nov. 28-Nov. 30	Friday-Sun.	Thanksgiving Tubing & Terrain Park Weekend
Come snow tubing or visit the Lucky Loop Park for some early season holiday fun on snow at Cramore. Operations weather dependent – call ahead.
Dec. 13	Saturday 9:00am	Welcome to Winter
The first 50 people to buy a lift ticket will receive a goodie bag filled with all the best Cranmore treats.
Dec. 27	Saturday 8am- 1:30pm	Monster Mash for Snowboarders
The season opening event and the first chance for riders to earn points to carry through the 3 event series.
Dec. 28	Saturday 8am-1:30pm	Monster Mash for Skiers
Now the skiers get their turn in this season starting series event.
Dec. 27	Saturday 6pm	Meister Hut Wine Dinner
Enjoy a sumptuous gourmet wine dinner in the rustic summit setting of the Meister Hut. Winner of NH Magazine Best of 2008 Award for Best Mountaintop Dinner. Advanced reservations mandatory.
Dec. 31	Wednesday ‘til midnight	Crantastic New Year’s Party
The bull wheels will be turning until midnight for skiing, riding, terrain parks and snow tubing at our first ever family New Year’s Eve Party. Your all inclusive Crantastic Ticket includes night skiing ticket, 2-hour snow tubing ticket, rentals, party favors and more! Enjoy family entertainers and live music in the Eating House until midnight.

January 2009

Jan. 9-11	Friday –Sun.	Snow Train Weekend
Join us in honoring Hannes Schneider's historic arrival in North Conway. The weekend will be filled with train rides on the Conway Scenic Railroad, skiing, food, live entertainment and music!

Enjoy a $3.30 discounted lift ticket as we kick off Snow Train Weekend!
Jan. 11	Sun.	5th Annual Great Penguin Race
Purchase a rubber penguin and race it down the slope. All proceeds will be donated to the Mount Washington Valley Children's Museum.

Jan. 17	Saturday	Jib Saw Massacre-Snowboarders
Competitors earn points for runs through a specially chosen course.

A freestyle competition in the park for skiers of all ages.
Feb. 16	Monday	Radio Disney Day
Fun and games with the Radio Disney Crew, with lots of great prizes and giveaways!
Feb. 18	Wednesday	Mtn. Dew Vertical Challenge
The Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge Race Series is a free, fun race open to all ages and abilities.

Feb.21	Saturday	Pink Ribbon Jibbin'
This event raises money for breast cancer research. Skier sand riders get a chance to slide the infamous Smith Limo with a custom rail welded to the top.
