Christmas Week Happenings at Cranmore Mountain

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – December 21, 2007

NORTH CONWAY, NH – With over 2 and a half feet of snow fallen on its slopes since opening day a scant 2 weeks ago, Cranmore Mountain is looking forward to its best holiday vacation week in years with over 95% of its terrain open a full array of fun events scheduled.

The highlight of the week is expected to be the first Cranapalooza event of the winter on Wed. December 26 with night skiing and riding, fireworks and live entertainment by Brownie and Julie and a DJ Dance Party with Cooper Fox.

Night skiing tickets are only $22 for all ages and are valid on Wed. and Sat. from 2-9pm. Most of the entertainment including face painting, family entertainers and fireworks are free and open to the public.

12.26 Wednesday 2pm - 9pm Cranapalooza
Get psyched for a new year of Cranapalooza's! There will be night skiing on 11 trails for this Winter Wonderland themed event. Fireworks will light the sky, Brownie & Julie will entertain the kids, and Copper Fox will DJ a dance party in The Eating House.

Mitch Alden from Now is Now performs an acoustic set in the Eating House.

12.28 Friday 8am- 1:30pm Monster Mash for Snowboarders
First Darkside competition for the new winter season.

12.28 Friday 3-7pm Apres ski entertainment Jim Tyrell performs on the Eating House stage.

12.29 Saturday 2pm - 9pm Cranapalooza
Night skiing on 11 trails! Plus, a New Year's Eve celebration for the whole family. Get hypnotized in the Eating House by Mike Hathaway and then enjoy the steel drum pulse of Mango Groove.

12.29 Saturday 8am-1:30pm Monster Mash for Skiers
Don't miss your chance to prove that you didn't sit on the couch the whole summer.

12.30 Sunday 3-7pm Apres ski entertainment

Tony Sarno will perform on the Eating House!
