NORTH CONWAY, N.H. - Continuing its mission to keep skiing affordable for families, Cranmore Mountain Resort offers dozens of ways to save every day at the popular North Conway resort. With online savings, ski and stay packages and multi-day deals, families never have to pay full price for a great day on the slopes.

Undoubtedly the best value of the year will take place on Friday, December 21, 2007, when Cranmore kicks off its Platinum year with a special lift ticket price. The venerable resort will roll back the clocks and offer a full day ticket for only $3.30. That’s what skiers were paying back when World War II was looming and FDR was in the White House...and Cranmore first operated the Skimobile. No advance purchase is necessary; just show up on the 21st and enjoy today’s skiing at 1930's prices.

Additionally, Cranmore has two new online ticket deals to commemorate its 70th anniversary. First up is the “Weekender” ticket for $70, giving skiers 20 hours of skiing for one low price. This ticket is valid from 8:30am Sat. through 9p.m. Sat. night, then all day Sunday from 8:30am – 4p.m. Or with the Sunday Saver, purchase two adult all day lift tickets for $70 (valid any non-holiday Sunday). These online tickets provide savings of $8-$14 per person.

These web specials join last year’s popular online ticket deals which will continue this winter, including a midweek Mon. – Thurs. “2-fer-1” ticket, offering 2 adult lift tickets for only $49.

In addition to purchasing lift tickets, guests can book online reservations for day care and ski school. Cranmore also offers ski and stay packages online at dozens of area hotels and motels. Guests can select packages based on their desired dates, location or price and search for lodging deals at Mount Washington Valley’s most popular lodging facilities. For skiers who spend a lot of time at North Conway’s mountain of choice, the Cranmore Happy Trails pass provides a full season of winter fun starting at just $159 for kids. Season passes may be purchased online at Cranmore.com or by calling 1-800-SUN-N-SKI. Pass prices are valid through 11/30/2007.

Season passes aren't the only way skiers and riders save at Cranmore this season. Cranmore offers guests an Add-a-Day option for those purchasing a single day lift ticket. When customers present that day's lift ticket at the Ticket Haus before 4 p.m., they can save up to 30% off the next day's lift ticket. This option joins Cranmore's After 2 Tomorrow Too, where skiers purchase a lift ticket or rental package after 2 p.m. and get all that day and the following day for the price of one day.

Three then Free and Reach the Peak are also great options for beginner and intermediate lesson packages. Guests who take three beginner or intermediate group lessons packages get a free season pass (ages 13 & up). Reach the Peak is the only intermediate package in the industry to offer this deal. Cranmore's Kids Rule package gives parents savings on group ski lessons for kids ages 6-14 when 4 lessons are purchased.

Freaky Fridays start the weekend early at Cranmore. Every Friday, lift tickets include extras like a free two-hour admission to the Arctic Blast Tubing Park (excluding holiday periods) and to the Cranmore Family Fitness Center through 4p.m.

And if you drive a hybrid vehicle, you can ski for free on two days this winter – Sat. Jan. 11, 2008 and Sat. March 22, 2008. Just present your auto registration for your qualifying hybrid fuel automobile at the Ticket Haus for one free lift ticket valid for that date (one per vehicle).

Unable to take advantage of any of these specials? Never fear because Cranmore is a great value every day with special low flat rate pricing 7 days a week, including holidays. Adult tickets cost only $49 (ages 19-64); teens are only $38 (ages 13-18); and kids/seniors are $28 (ages 6-12 & 65+). Kids ages five and under ski for free.
