Cranmore's Terrain Parks Official SPT Parks
NORTH CONWAY, N.H. - Cranmore
Mountain Resort, in Mount Washington Valley, New Hampshire offers guests
two terrain parks for the 2007/2008 season. Cranmore features
a progression learning area at the Other Side Terrain Park
and the signature intermediate/advanced Darkside Terrain Park.
Cranmore's terrain parks are overseen by Snow Park Technologies (SPT), an industry
leader in terrain park design and construction.
SPT provides ideas and solutions for some of the biggest and most unique
projects on snow. This season, SPT is partnering with ten resorts in
each snow region of the U.S. and New Zealand to create branded SPT Parks. Each
SPT Park resort is committed to designing, maintaining and operating its terrain
park program with a level of quality and consistency, which
will be unmistakably recognizable.

Cranmore Mountain Resort SPT Parks for the 2007-2008 season include:
The Other Side Park - Small to medium features
The Other Side Terrain Park is a small to medium sized park designed around a fun non-intimidating environment.
The Dark Side - Medium to large features
Geared to the devoted park shredders, this park will continue to feature
medium to large elements which includes the signature
wall ride,
stair set,
battleship box,
picnic table,
C-Box and an
SPT Barrel. This park features
over 30 jibs.

Riders looking for
premiere training grounds to keep those freestyle
skills sharp or a learning area to start it all will not be disappointed. The
Darkside Terrain Park offers intermediate/advanced features such
as a
wall ride, down-flat-down rail, A-frame rail, C-rail, rainbow box, stair
set and many other jibs and jumps. The
Other Side Terrain Park is as a
progressive learning area for kids and Freestyle lessons are available
to any guest who needs guided direction on how to properly approach and hit a
terrain park feature.
Park riders who can't get enough of the Darkside are invited to

"Last year we launched our
'My Space' page and it was incredibly popular," stated lead Terrain Park Supervisor Jess Richitelli, "We added almost 400 friends last winter and hope to do even better this year! We post video and share event bulletins with our friends so we encourage everyone to add us!"
Night skiing and riding begins on Wednesday, December 26, and continues every Saturday night throughout the season,
top-to-bottom on 11 trails until 9 p.m. The Darkside is serviced by two lifts in the evening, the Skimobile Express Quad and the South Double Chair, while the Other Side Park is serviced by the South Double Chair.
"The Darkside and Other Side Terrain Parks will continue to offer precise jumps, rails and boxes for day and night time action," said Richitelli. "The Darkside Terrain Park is particularly popular during the day and even more so during the night sessions. Combined with great music, tubing and other night-time events, Cranmore is an exciting nighttime destination."
