November 1st Snowmaking Update: "Rabbit, rabbit"

“Rabbit, rabbit!”  This is an old superstition found in Britain and North America that states that a person should say or repeat the word “rabbit” or “rabbits” or “white rabbits” or some combination of these words out loud upon waking on the first day of the month.  Well, our snowmakers all did this morning when they rose to head out and test our system for the winter season.

With favorable overnight temps that left the ground blanketed in a shimmery frost by morning; we jumped on the low temperatures and fired up fan guns in the base area and on the South Slope for the first time of the winter season.  Our snowmaking team is ready for approaching November cold temperatures and will be out to start working on Phase 1 when temperatures allow.  As for now, stay tuned right here for the lastest snowmaking updates, and for good luck, "rabbit, rabbit!"
