Our snowmakers, with help from Mother Nature, were able to get us to 100% open terrain (excluding the glades) for MLK weekend- meaning we finished the 6 phases of our snowmaking plan.
Things have been quiet in the world of snowmaking over the last week,. but with cold temperatures forecasted to return Sunday evening, we'll head back out to touch up some areas on the hill, and finish some work in the terrain parks.
If all goes as planned, Sunday-Tuesday we'll be firing up on the Upper Double Feature Terrain Park, North Slope, Hurricane, Zip's Trail, North Conway, Beginner Basin and Lower Kandahar.
Midweek, Tuesday-Friday, we'll be refreshing Schneider, Artist Falls, Upper and Lower Gibson, Upper & Lower Koessler, Beginner's Luck and the Director's Cut.
Looking a little deeper into our crystal ball, the week of February 7th, we'll refresh Upper and Lower Skimeister, Middle, Ledges, South Slope, Easy street and Bandit.
All of this refreshin' is in preparation for a stellar February Vacation week and spring!
If you were looking for a visual of what our plan is for the upcoming week, take a look at the above map:
Red, Sunday to Tuesday
Green, Tuesday to Friday
The purple from next Sunday to Tuesday & black from Tuesday to Friday.
Of course, all of this depends on lovely Mother Nature's assistance (as always), and is subject to change, but we'll make sure you're the first to know!
Think cold and snow!
