    Latest News:  Friday, June 23, 8:30am- Due to a wet forecast for the day, we will be closing operations.  We will see you tomorow at 10am! Please excuse our appearance as some exciting projects at the resort are now underway!  In addition to the construction of Building One of Kearsarge Brook at Cranmore, we are in the process of redesigning our base area unload zone.  The new unload zone is on schedule to be completed by early July, and will include new paving, drop off parking, sidewalks, decorative & improved lighting and will give the resort a beautiful new look as we move further into summer.

    Our goal is to build self esteem and a lifelong passion for winter sports, providing a safe and fun learning environment.     Get Skiing and Snowboarding

    A learning experience designed to take the first time skier or snowboarder through a series of lessons utilizing our Terrain Based Learning TM features that will have you sliding, and turning, in no time. Visit here for what to expect during your first lesson.

    Best Options for Learning to Ski or Snowboard

    For the absolute beginner with no prior experience

    Option 1: Get Skiing or Snowboarding  Level 1


    Meets on snow, Sunday-Friday at 10am & 1pm. Saturdays, holidays & vacation periods at 10am, 11am & 1pm.
    Includes 2 hours of instruction, equipment rental with helmet and lower mountain lift ticket
    Purchase online, in advance and save $5. You may upgrade to the Get Level 2 Package for $100 and receive your third lesson free.

    Option 2: 3 Day Get Skiing Lesson Package


    Purchase your Get Level 1, 2 & 3 lessons all at the same time and save. 
    Package includes lift tickets, rental equipment and helmet, and a 2 hour group lesson each day for three days.
    Does not need to be used on consecutive days, but does expire at the end of the season.  Daily lesson times the same as above.

    For Those Who Have Limited Prior Experience

    Get Skiing or Snowboarding Level 2


     If you have tried skiing or snowboarding before, but have difficulty sliding and turning on beginner terrain, this package is for you.
    Meets Sunday-Friday at 10am and 1pm Saturdays, holidays, and vacation periods at 10am & 1pm .   
    Purchase online, in advance and save $5. Includes 2 hours of instruction, equipment rental with helmet and lower mountain lift ticket

    Get Skiing or Snowboarding Level 3


    If you can link turns, control speed on beginner terrain, and ride a chair lift, this is where you should be.    
    Meets Sunday – Friday at 10am and 1pm, Saturdays, holidays & vacation periods at 10am & 1pm.             
    Purchase online, in advance and save $5. Includes 2 hours of instruction, equipment rental with helmet and full mountain lift ticket

    3-Day Beginner Lesson Package + Rossignol Skis

    Rossignol Get Skiing Package


    Designed for the absolute beginner, includes three Get Skiing lessons plus lift ticket & rental equipment during each lesson
    Once you complete the three lessons, you receive a new pair of Rossignol Experience 74 skis with bindings & discount card for ski boots at Sport Thoma
    Meeting times for this lesson package are the same as GET lessons listed above, lessons are 2 hours

    Please note: The Rossignol Get Skiing Package is for 13 years and older, first time skiers is non transferable and must be completed during the 2016- 2017 ski season. Package cannot be combined with any other offer.  This program is designed exclusively for those new to snowsports. It is not meant for someone who already knows one discipline and wants to crossover to another. If you are familiar with skiing or snowboarding and can get on chairlifts, know about the mountain, or have done it before, this program is not for you.

    Locals Learn to Ski

    A new offering specifically for residents of Carroll and Coos counties in New Hampshire, and Oxford County in Maine,  who do not ski or ride.  Contact us at 603-356-5544 ext. 241 for details. Proof of residency required.   

    Private Lessons

    • A great chance to get one on one time with your own instructor; this is a great option for developing more advanced skills including racing and/or terrain park, but it is acceptable for all levels.
    • Semi privates offer individuals of the same skill level looking to develop their skiing or riding skills together in a private setting. Individuals need to be of similar ability and participating in the same skill (either skiing or snowboarding).
    • Price is for lesson only; it does not include lift ticket or equipment.  Reservations are highly recommended. Must be reserved by phone.
    • Lessons meet on snow, midway between the main base lodge and Children's Center.
    90 Minute Private Lesson, ages 6+
    Meets on snow at 9am, 10:45am, 12:30pm or 2:15pm  
    3 Hour Private Lesson, ages 6+
    Meets on snow at 9am or 12:30pm  
    90 Minute Semi-Private Lesson, ages 6+
    Meets on snow at 9am, 10:45am, 12:30pm or 2:15pm

    Tips for a Good Experience

    • Book in advance!  It saves you money and will put you at ease on the day of your arrival.
    • Get a good nights' sleep!  Being well rested for the day will improve the experience.
    • Eat breakfast!  They don't say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day for no reason.
    • Arrive at least 60 minutes prior to your lesson start time to allow for the ticketing & rental process.
